   After tons of research and looking at reviews, good & bad, I was on the fence about purchasing this Generac generator. However, we decided to give it a shot. The manual needs a little work but overall it has been fantastic! We live off-grid and although we have 15 300kw solar panels, winter can be daunting and the panels are covered with snow and you lose power. Just in the time, right after start-up we received an unexpected snow storm and it came on cue without missing a beat. We installed this ourselves, a little tricky but calling to ask questions was received well. I’d recommend it. Worth the money for a peace of mind.

   Getting the generator here was a nightmare. It kept getting put on a truck with no lift gate and I am residential. Tried and tried. Finally accepted it anyway and hired a guy with a tractor to unload it and bring to me. Generator is great but loud. Very loud.
